These terms govern the use of strategyproof.net and its tools (Strategy Lab, Explorer, Validator and related services).

1. What StrategyProof is
StrategyProof is a research and education tool. It tests trading strategies on historical market data using walk-forward
and robustness analysis. It is not investment advice, it does not recommend any trade, and it does not manage
money or execute orders. Please read our Risk Disclaimer.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and give a valid email address.
- One account per person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, automated access, attacks, reselling of the service, or attempts to bypass
limits.
3. Free and Supporter access
- The free plan includes the features described on the site, with limits on research size.
- Supporter access is obtained with a voluntary payment (“pay what you want”) through PayPal. It gives the research credits and
advanced tools shown at the moment of payment. Each research run uses one credit. - Credits are personal, cannot be transferred and have no cash value.
- We may change features and limits for the future; credits already purchased will be honoured.
4. Refunds
Supporter access is a digital service that starts immediately. If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within
14 days of payment, provided that no research credit has been used. Write to
analysis@strategyproof.net with the PayPal transaction reference.
After credits have been used, payments are not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or the service failed for
reasons attributable to us.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: overload or attack the servers, scrape the site or the API, use bots to create accounts or run research,
copy or resell the software, results or datasets as your own service, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Data and results
- Market data comes from third-party sources and may contain errors, gaps or differences from your broker’s prices.
- Backtests are simulations. They depend on assumptions (spread, commissions, slippage, execution at bar prices) and do not
reproduce real trading exactly. - You may use the results of your own research freely, at your own risk.
7. Intellectual property
The site, software, texts, graphics and methods belong to StrategyProof. Your strategy settings and uploaded reports remain
yours; you give us only the permission needed to process them for you.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, updates or technical problems
may cause interruptions. We may modify or discontinue features.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StrategyProof is not liable for trading losses,
lost profits or any decision you make based on the results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by
law, including the rights of consumers.
10. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version and important changes will be announced. These terms
are governed by the law of Italy. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country
where you live.
